Profession in your pre-jewelry design life?

LS: Fashion designer with an emphasis on knitwear design.

What inspires you?

LS: Ageless wrought iron works in Spain and the candy-like qualities of brilliantly colored gem stones.

Your muse?

LS: My mother with her love of all things beautiful. Whether interiors, flora or clothing, she was always redesigning her surroundings and ultimately herself.

Personal obsessions?

LS: Flea markets, bazaars and vintage haunts.

How best to describe your work?

Elegantly whimsy, classic simplicity, polished personal style.

Your market?

LS: All women — teens to grandmothers and all ages in between.

What outfits work best with your jewelry?

LS: My designs shimmer and sparkle with anything from jeans and a tee to that drop-dead glam gown and everything in between.

Your biggest fans?

LS: My loving husband and three children, Max, Sam and Sophia.

Where do you go next?

LS: Wherever my imagination takes me.
